Alma & Alfred Hitchcock
Reading and talk with Thilo Wydra & Susanne Hermanski
“The Hitchcock touch had four hands. Two of them belonged to Alma.” Los Angeles Times
It is an extraordinary union: In 53 years as a married couple, Alfred Hitchcock and his wife Alma created an incomparable body of work - 53 films. But Alma's considerable contribution to her world-famous husband's success has hardly been recognized until now. In Los Angeles, author Thilo Wydra has now followed in the footsteps of this couple of the century.
Susanne Hermanski, editor of the Süddeutsche Zeitung, talks to Thilo Wydra about the fascination of this unusual couple.
Afterwards, the Hitchcock classic Vertigo will be shown in the library.
