Marcia Bittencourt & Dami Andres

Dami Andres from Buenos Aires and Marcia Bittencourt from Rio de Janeiro have combined their musical roots and experiences to create an intense programme: Stage presence and an enormous vocal range meet virtuosity and brilliance on the eight-string guitar. What they both have in common is their love of jazz, with which they flavour the great musical traditions of South America: bolero and bossa nova, tango and samba, choro and baião. In their interpretations and compositions they put all the power, temperament and energy of South America. Their music is a deep bow to the rich traditions of this huge country.
